Aviation Day 2023
Lockheed Martin Orlando ATLP, in partnership with the South Florida VFS chapter and Sikorsky’s Engineers in the Classroom program invite you to Aviation Day 2023 at the Orlando Science Center (OSC)
Activities include: Carboard F-22 build, hoop gliders, rubber band helos, helicopter simulator and more!
Location: Orlando Science Center, 777 E. Princeton St. Orlando, FL 32803
Event is open to the public. There is no fee to participate in events however paid entry into the OSC is required. Tickets can be purchased at: https://www.osc.org/tickets/
The event will run from approximately 10 a.m. through 5 p.m. and we will be expecting children from grades K through 12. We had 1,400 children pass though our area at a similar event last October!

Element Material Technology Facility Tour
This amazing facility is located right on our doorstep and performs a wide variety of aerospace product certification testing, including fuel testing (hot, cold, ice etc.), hail and bird impact testing, shock and vibration testing, and much more! They also have a 30-ft. arm centrifuge!

The local chapters of VFS (Vertical Flight Society), SFTE (Society of Flight Test Engineers), AIAA (American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics) and SETP (Society of Experimental Test Pilots) invite you to join us for a presentation by Carol Sugars, pilot of the world's first biofuel-powered jet aircraft.
